    Default Free DVD authoring software

Does anyone know a good free Video DVD authoring program? It could be for Windows or for Linux.

So far I have tried DeVeDe which is a bit spartan and DVD Styler which is an unstable piece of shit.

I need something that creates standards-compliant DVDs that will play in a standalone player. It should be possible to create moderately complex menues because I have lots of short clips.

Do you know anything like that?

I haven't used it, but DVDFlick is open-source and free.

    Thank you!

So far I only played around with this a little bit, but it looks great.
The menu templates as shown in the application are a bit rigid, but apparently you can write your own.

Let me know how it works. I've been looking for a good freeware app, but only make 1-2 DVDs a year, so it's not a high-priority on my "to-do" list.
