    Default Three Truths, One Lie

This is a very simple game. One person writes four statements. Three of them are true and one is a lie. The first person to correctly guess the lie is the next to post four statements.

    I'll start:

My garage is actually an old stable and still has horse stalls in it.
My favorite thing to play with on my desk is a tiny, clay head.
I usually carry a small heart-shaped amethyst in my pocket.
I have never been to Canada.

    I say it's #3: I usually carry a small heart-shaped amethyst in my pocket.

You just don't seem like a small, heart-shaped amethyst type, somehow.

Dang, now I have to come up with 4 statements. Give me a minute to think about it.

Actually, I had one for years and did carry it around almost everywhere with me. It was a treasured eighteenth birthday present. Unfortunately, I lost it.

    Bummer.

    Here are mine:

    1) I fell off a horse when I was a child and broke my arm
    2) I have a large collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia
    3) My husband and I stand to inherit a large amount of money, at which time we will be able to retire and still live very well.
    4) I have lived in the same state my entire life

Since I started the thread, I shall graciously give the next turn to Sticks so it isn't the Sarah and Zuul show.

    Aww, you're so nice.

    1) I have a birthmark on my thigh.
    2) I never learned cursive.
    3) I don't eat peas.
    4) I had the same choir teacher from grade school through high school.

I wish. Stupid uglyass birthmark. Someday it will turn into cancer and I will die because it's on the underside and I won't notice it becoming malignant.

Yeah, so I'm not sure if Beebs is making a choice but Allwalker is wrong again. I do, in fact, know cursive. In fact sometimes I switch in the middle of writing a word from cursive to printing and back again.
I don't think so, therefore I'm probably not.

All right, so that leaves #4. What do I win?

Seems like the most noteworthy, especially in your case.

    Alright, my batch:

    1) My favorite musician of all time is Darren Hayes, the former lead singer of Savage Garden
    2) I was once a vegan for a year, except on Sunday when I would eat massive amounts of cheese.
    3) I find fake "food" smells to be nauseating and try to avoid scented candles that mimic things like "vanilla" or "hazelnut".
    4) When I was a child, I hated pigs and considered them to be the embodiment of evil.

Nope. When I was a kid my sister's boyfriend brought over the animated version of Animal Farm and left me deeply traumatized in regards to pigs. Bastard. (I'm over it now, thankfully.)

Nope. It started as a Lent fast and fasts are supposed to end on Sunday, so Sunday was my day for cheating. Then it remained a lifestyle for about a year.

I'll go with #1 being the lie, since #3 just seems so sensible to me.

Nope. I am utterly obsessed with Darren Hayes (thanks, RabbitMage!).

    1) I haven't actually watched any anime in all of 2009.
    2) I have none of my holiday shopping done.
    3) I have no valid Driver's license, because I allowed it to expire.
    4) I have never knowingly heard a Britney Spears song.

Not intentionally. But somewhere, perhaps an elevator or walking through Target, it must have occurred to you that this is Spears.

Nope. Never. Part of that is that I avoid shopping whenever possible. Part of it is that many of the stores I shop in just don't have music or PA systems.
