    Default Need help with Firefox

I installed Firefox, and I'm liking it overall. However, it won't load the google calendar for me. All my other google stuff (like igoogle and gmail) load just fine. It says to be sure it's accepting cookies, which it is. Any ideas for what I can do?

What is your privacy level set to? Go to Tools>Internet Options>Privacy. If it's set too high, even though you're accepting cookies, you may not be accepting them freely enough for the calendar app to work. That's my first thought.

Have you installed any add-ons or made any unusual changes to the configuration?

Normally it should work out of the box.

OneCentStamp, are you sure you aren't thinking of IE?

I let it install add-ons so that some igoogle gadgets would work.

I'm at work, where we have to use IE. At home we use Firefox.

And, yes, OCS, Feirfiz is right that Firefox doesn't work the same way with accepting cookies. It seems to be all or nothing.

Beyond the general yes or no you can also choose whether you want to allow third-party cookies and provide a list of exceptions one way or the other.

Just "Accept cookies" (but not third party) should be enough for Calendar.

Yeah, it should, but it's not working. Hmmm. This is really annoying.

Do you use a script blocking add-on or an aggressive ad blocker?

Good question...I'm not sure, as this is a work computer and I don't know what all is on there in terms of ad-blocking. But it's weird...everything else seems to be working just fine, so I'm thinking there's no good reason that this one thing shouldn't be, you know?

Searched on google, and apparently this is a common problem. I found a work-around...for some reason it works if you are set on private browsing. Weird.
