Yeah, I know, this is total and utter fluff and completely brainless. I don't care.

Warning: this baby rabbit is so cute it might actually make you vomit. I feel mildly nauseated just posting it.

RabbitMage informs me this is a baby mini, not a baby donkey. Humblest of apologies in miscategorizing your baby animals.

Oh, geez. That baby donkey is the most ridiculously adorable thing ever, and Corgi puppies are just like little living stuffed animals. but for some reason I can't get your "baby killers" link to load.

Oh, Taumpy, what a great wolf picture! It reminds me of this video I found the other day:

You're right, Loki. Baby jelly fish are surprisingly cute. But baby octopods are so adorable they look like chibi characters from an anime.

Then there's this web page (Which I found when I was looking for 'baby naked mole rat' pictures.) I didn't realize that baby pandas were fuglier than baby naked mole rats.

Huh. It's surprising that they're so bleh looking.

    Baby goldfish!

Right now I'm trying to figure out how I'll keep my goldfish from eating their fry when they spawn. Only two survived last year.

Have you ever seen a betta cage? Basically a small enclosure to hang from the wall of your aquarium, where you can keep problem fish away from others, without having to condition a separate tank. If the fry are large enough you might be able to keep them in there, away from the larger goldfish, once you net them.

Bah, but I can't seem to find any, now, on the web...

I know what you're talking about. I'll see if I can find something like that. The other option is getting some sort of fake plant that's big enough for them to hide in. When we had a big pond they could stay in all year round, it was easy enough to just have some aquatic plants in there for them to hide in. When they have to winter indoors it throws their whole little lifecycle off, though.

Oh, geez, Exy. There's just something about those big, sad eyes on orangutans. Terry Pratchett was right.

    Stunningly beautiful alligators, Myrna!

Baby gila monster. I love these critters anyways. So ugly they're cute, and they're venomous, too!

What did he say about them?

To me their biggest selling point is the spikey orange fur.

In his Discworld novels the Librarian is an orangutan and there's just always a great description of how he looks. The descriptions manage to be rather outlandish while also being quite accurate to how orangutans look.

    Also.

I was sitting here, minding my own business, and then someone clobbered me over the head. And showed me this website: ZooBorns.

and now that I'm not sure when I'll be able to stop squeeing I figured I had to share it with everyone else here.

Cuteness abounds. Papillon is quite cute; the black-footed kitten and the otter are excrutiatingly so.

    I've always liked baby cheetahs:

Aw, yes. Baby cheetahs are adorable. Those distinctive facial markings really go well with that rounder baby mammal face.

    Baby mellophants!

    Baby giraffes!

    Baby zebrafish!

So now they are just dirt-covered English people in fur pelts with credit cards.
