Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the face...eyes, ears, mouth, nasal cavity...it's all there. Pretty freaky how all that develops into a recognizable face in a couple months' time!Originally posted by RabbitMage

Yeah, if you've got an idea about embryonic development it's possible to see how all of those little bits develop into recognizable features. Not that they're recognizable features now, but you can sort of see what they'll become.
Also, it kind of looks like that "girl without a face" presurgery.
