Default Mellow out in the Domebo Garden

Feeling stressed? I can help. I've put aside a small patch of land for a garden for us all to enjoy. Have a look...

Doesn't look like much yet, though. But gardens take time and a little bit of love. If you want to help out, it is easy - simply tell me which square you want me to plant your seeds in and I shall do so. After that, you can simply sit back and watch it grow. Or, if you have a green thumb, you can help your garden along by picking a square to water, weed and fertilise.

I shall start by planting seeds in the square 4th from the left and 3 rows down. You may plant the seeds wherever you like - they all receive equal sun, soil and protection from icky bugs.

Oh, and if you have a favourite colour to mark your plots with, please let me know. I will bring you updates on the garden's progress on a whenever-I-feel-like-it basis, so check back regularly. In the meantime relax and ream of greener horizons.

    I'd like a cannabis plant on a8, and 3 tomato plants at a7, b7 and b8, if that's okay?

Well my lovelies, the first few seeds have been planted and will be growing shortly.

I'm afraid, though, that specific plants may not be requested. I have gone to the liberty of purchasing vast amounts of Magical Mystery Seeds. What will grow? Wait and find out!

Also, it is not necessary to take up too many plots, or keep them bunched together. If there is room available the plants will spread from their plots into others - even a handful of seeds can become a forest, given time, water and love.

Any more gardeners willing to stake a claim? All I need from you is an empty square of your choice.

It all looks pretty brown to me. How long do we have to wait for these seeds to grow?

    New life!

Given a good wind and plenty of Sun, I wouldn't be surprised if the new shoots of grass where to spread across the dry, dirty landscape like a velvety carpet of green. New gardeners are, of course, welcome at any time.

I'll carefully spread some horse manure around the plot and run a line of fox urine on the perimeter to scare off the varmints.

My, such eager gardeners! So eager, in fact, some of you were vying for the same spaces. Sadly, I must allocate plots based on first come, first serve.

There is a strong breeze blowing to the south. It carries with it the sounds of children's laughter and kittens doing marijuana. It is strong enough to scatter the seeds to the south - expect some new growths soon!

That's the funny thing about plants - they scatter seeds like nobody's business. And with the right wind behind them, they sure can spread.

    Look! New plants!

A still???? But... those are sometimes used to make... ethyl alcohol based beverages, the kind that inflame the senses and distort the mind! This is a place of relaxation, not a...

Oh yeah, relaxation, good point. I suppose we do need alcohol. But that doesn't mean we need to go industrialising this garden. But I'll tell you what - there's plenty of room in the white spaces off to the sides.

But on to news... that last breeze was a good one, seeding much of the lifeless soil with shoots of new life. The lone flower patch is blooming nicely, and you can count on them spreading, too.

    Good morning gardeners!

Well, that wind had rather... mixed results. Some plants spread beautifully, others, well, others have lots of neighbours. Space is running low - maybe it's time to think about adding some extra space. On the plus side, we have a brand new flower!

Can I have a refreshment stand? I'd love to provide bottled water, juices, soft drinks, and maybe some nice sandwiches to people who come by for a visit. All at reasonable prices, of course.

Just don't be providing any scrumpy or you'll have Winston along with his shotgun.

    Progress!

A north-easterly breeze fills in some more dirt spaces with grass, making the garden look like a bad game of tetris. More good news - a food stand, and a funky vending machine.
