I noticed mellophant has blogs. Can anyone start one up?

Hm. To be honest, I'm not sure. (I know vBulletin as a forum, not the hybrid thing as it exists for the full site.) You can certainly try, I suppose, to see if your permissions allow you to create one.

I'm a little concerned, after poking around, that there doesn't appear to be a way to delete inappropriate posts. Does anyone who's been here longer and/or is more knowledgeable about this stuff have any suggestions? I'll poke at What Exit?, he probably knows this best.

I should say, visitors to this site are almost all forum-only. (And most of them are bots anyway, sigh.) But if you think it'd be fun and intend no deviltry then I don't see why not. I wouldn't rely on it for anything permanent, though--don't post anything you'd be upset to see gone, just in case future upgrades of the software don't work with the current front end--which is at least ten years old.
