The short story, an official in the white house authorized a photo moment wherin Air Force One flys over Staten Island with a fighter jet escort. New Yorkers look up, see the 747 comin' out of the sky, start having flashbacks of Steve Miller and CCR and panic ensues.

Ok, they had flashbacks of 9/11, but Steve Miller is almost as scary as Bin Laden.

So, after this award winning moment for the president's staff (of whom I'm sure he's proud of right now ) what do you suppose the next big DOD Photo Op will be?

My suggestion is take some pictures of a Ryder rental truck outside of the Oklahoma City Federal Building - you know, to show strength of community and what not.
