True. If I'm not eating it, I'm probably using it in a recipe.

TNP has inherited at least one old family recipe.

Pretty much the only cookies I like are made by following the recipe on the Nestle chocolate chip bag, but leaving out the walnuts, so yeah.

A little, but not too bad. Whenever I get a little blue I think of all the people less fortunate than me. I count my blessings and feel better.

Correcto. There's a stall in a market in Dublin City Centre that sells horse meat in a baguette. Apparently their sales are through the roof since the horse meat scandal hit. It piqued my interest and now I'd have neigh problem trying horse meat.

    TNP hates Star Trek.

Quite wrong. I'm a Trekker from 'way back.

I don't know about really interested, but yes, a bit interested. Humanity has come a long way, but still has such a long, long way to go.

TNP thinks humanity will reach another star system in the next hundred years.

I used to think so but I have serious doubts now, I'm becoming cynical as I get older don't think we have the drive to reach the stars. Maybe in 100 years we'll actually being doing something useful in space but I doubt we'll be heading to another star system with anything more then a remote probe. Now that I believe we will do.

TNP has bought a region 2 DVD by mistake.

Yes! About a decade ago, I bought a DVD online of the original Ealing comedy The Ladykillers featuring Alec Guiness, and missed the fact that it was Region 2. Couldn't get a refund or return for some reason, but fortunately it had been cheap.

TNP has seen either version of The Ladykillers.

Oh, often, but not every meal. Ketchup on hot dogs, hamburgers and fries; mustard occasionally on hot dogs and hamburgers but always with ham; A-1 sauce on steak; salt on macaroni and cheese; barbecue sauce on chicken sometimes. Hmm. I'm probably forgetting some others.

    TNP is hungry right now.
