Yes, two days ago, we had a very impressive summer sunset - lots of purples and pinks, and loooong clouds on the horizon.

Now that I know about them...maybe? (I knew the Olympics were starting soon, just not exactly when.) Once you've been reduced to a blubbering baby by Muhammad Ali (Atlanta '96), all other opening ceremonies fall short of the glory.

TNP thinks Daniel Craig is the best 007 so far.

UPDATE: So, I ended up watching a lot of the opening ceremonies, just because artifex and I happened to be in a bar where they were playing, and lo and behold, Daniel Craig figured prominently therein! Self-fulfilling prophecy? Aaaaaaaaaaaaaanyway...

True, I had a flare-up of some eczema on my hands that I feel was probably stress-induced. Got some cream for it, cleared it up like magic, haven't had to use anything this calendar year for it.

Liked him fine in the Sixties, haven't thought of him much since. (Assuming we're talking about the pop singer, not the composer, about whom I have no opinion.)

True. I'm quite fond of Scrabble, though it's been years since I played seriously. I used to play Boggle on a nearly daily basis with my elderly neighbor when I was a kid.
