Default Akinator, the genie that IDs characters game.

This game is interesting on how it learns from its mistakes when he fails to guess your character.

I managed to make it miss with the Duke of Wellington and Professor Ochanomizu/Dr. Packidermus J. Elefun from Astroboy, but Akinator did guess the other ten I launched at him. (How the heck did he figure Danger Mouse?!?!?)

Just press "Play" and the genie will ask about 20 multiple choice questions and then give you his guess.

    Warning, this can be addictive.

    Fun, and surprisingly accurate.

He missed Alucard, but guessed him as Vlad Tepes and Dracula (damn close). He missed Lion-o, but got Deadpool.

Very Cool. It nailed Elminster, which I thought was pretty obscure. I beat it with Grace Van Owen from L.A. Law.

It missed on Adell from Disgaea 2, and came up with a Sonic character.

Hasn't got a single one right yet out of 5. Hasn't really been close.

Also asks odd questions - after being told she was a girl, asked if she was female.

V.I.C.I. (guess -Flo from the Progressive Commercials)
Randal Graves (Bruce Wayne after the maximum number of questions)
    Penfold (Ogi)
Quinn Pensky, from Zoey 101 (Lolita - Dolores 'Haze') *not in the database
    H.M. Murdock (Radar O'Reilly)

Tried again three more times. I was thinking of Hilda Rumpole (She-who-must-be-obeyed). It suggested Daphne Moon from Frasier. I don't know Frasier, so is that close? Francis Urquhart, and it gave back Moriarty, so it's definitely in the same area. Sir Dan from Medievil, on the other hand, is definitely nothing like an arbiter from Halo.

The only one it got right was Prince of Persia.

So far, it appears Akinator is unaware that Australia exists.
So now they are just dirt-covered English people in fur pelts with credit cards.

Huh...I was impressed that it correctly guessed Spike Spiegel, Jason Voorhees, and Constable Odo, but based on what other people are saying I've been far too easy on it. Back into the fray, and we'll see how deep its knowledge goes.

Huh. He got Dangermouse and Duo Maxwell but guessed incorrectly for Henry II of England. He guessed Henry VIII. Loser!

He also guessed Thomas Jefferson instead of John Adams.

Ok, I'm having way too much fun with this. It got Sailor Mercury, but I stumped it with Dutch Wagenbach and Kakihara. When I switched over to real people, it failed to guess Al Roker...but it nailed my namesake, which I did not expect, since as far as I could tell it only narrowed it down to English 80s singers who also played guitar.

It got D'Artagnan, tho I don't know how, since it could have been any of 20 character based on the question it asked.

Buck from Call of the Wild, Fiver from Watership Down, and Wedge Antilles stumped him.

Akinator isn't very well-versed in SnarfQuest characters, going 0-for-5:

    Snarf, guessed Zealot (Starcraft)
    Aveeare, guessed Marvin (HHGTTG)
Telerie Windyarm, guessed Kriss de Valnor
Suthaze, guessed Yuri (Command and Conquer)
Prince Raffendorf, guessed Groo the wanderer

He missed my first couple, but then he started nailing them even after getting no good clues the whole session. If it hadn't been impossible, I would have thought he was cheating on a few.

By the way, have you read "Top characters"? A lot of people wildly overestimate their originality.
