Default Browning Light 12 - how can I find the year?

I just got one of my wife's Grandfather's shotguns given to me for my birthday. I'm not sure of the year - or the value for that matter. I can say that it is in great shape and shoots perfectly.

It's a Browning Light 12. It says "made in Belgium" on the barrel.

    The serial number is

    7G
76xxx (I'll give the full serial number in a PM if it's needed - but that should be enough to get the year)

So, can anyone tell me what I have? Is there anything else that is needed to identify it?

    Thanks!

silenus, I checked that site. Close as I can figure, that site puts it at 1957.

But, that is if it's a G series - instead of 7G like it says on mine.

Good of a guess as any I guess - thanks for the suggestion.
