Hope you don't mind a bump inspired by something I found at the Barnes & Nobel bargain table this afternoon. A beautiful coffee table book featuring John's extensive collection. Here's a scan of the front and back covers:

Man, those things just scream Entwhistle - especially the wood-grain ones. The guy had a look and a sound that were utterly unique.

That's a cool-looking book! The photographer/cover-layout-designer (is there a word for that I'm forgetting? I'm sure there is.) really did a nice job there.

And bump away! I'm shallow enough to get a slight sense of importance from it.

I spotted this Coral Sitar Guitar in the front window of Haight Ashbury Music earlier this week. (It caught my eye because it was in the Bass Culture book.)
