I ? maps, so here's the DoMeBo Map.

Who wants in? This is via request only. I won't be looking through the members list to start pulling locations. I can also include pictures, whether it's your avatar or another one you'd like me to link to. I'll take all submissions via PM, or simply by asking on this thread.

I'll add and update this map as often as I'm able to. I don't have any deadline when I'll stop adding people, but please be patient is it takes me a day or two to catch up with requests.

Mods, feel free to move this if you'd like to see this in another forum.

ETA: No, I'm not looking for specific addresses or anything. For example, I simply placed myself in "Davis Square, Somerville, MA". If you say "NY, NY" I'll just toss your marker someplace that looks fun, like the Empire State Building.

The more I think about this, the cooler it gets. Consider:

1. No matter what we put in our Location field, people, if they wish, can get an idea of where we're coming from.

2. When we refer to local weather or geographic features, people can get a better context for what we mean and/or are experiencing.

3. Planning for the eventually inevitable meet-ups will be more practical, since prospective hosts will have an idea of how likely it is they can get a critical mass.

Yes, they're US postal zip codes.

They are zip codes. For the purposes of Google Maps, they're close enough to where we live that it allows for a decent degree of precision, without pinpointing exactly where we live.
