I've had them in the fridge for ages. They're now almost three months past their use-by date. They still seem mostly fine - the main body doesn't seem squishy or smell bad or mouldy. But they've sprouted, there's four inch white worm-things coming out of the top. If I cut those off, are the parsnips still good to eat? I've heard it said you can't eat potatoes that have sprouted, but what about parsnips?
As you can tell, I am a disorganised clueless kitchenphobic clot.
