Thread Page Jumping To The Bottom

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this but starting today everytime I open up a thread it automatically jumps to the quick reply box at the bottom. It is annoying as I have to scroll up to the top everytime. Is there a fix for this?

I'm attempting to address this issue, but I cannot duplicate the problem. Please supply further details such as which browser and platform, whether this is specific links or all thread links, and which theme you're using.

It is happening to me on all themes except for the Black Pearl one. I am using Windows 7 Beta and IE 8 Beta. It is happening on all thread links. Thanks.

In that case, switch to Firefox. I'm not having the issue there.

Just kidding, I'll go have a look at it. I'm almost certain it's an issue with a # anchor tag.

ETA: and the reason it's not happening on Black Pearl is because the QR hasn't been enabled on that one yet.

OK, I jumped on my laptop. Running Win XP SP 3 and Firefox and everything is working fine. May just be IE causing this problem.

Maybe. I'm certainly getting it with IE, and it's annoying.

I have the issue fixed on the test board, but we'll have to wait until the Cap'n wakes up and purges the cache for the fix to be applied here. I did verify that I had the issue when I switched to IE, and the problem disappeared with no apparent side affects after I removed the # anchor.
