Well, actually, earlier today while I was messing around trying out this place's paces, there were several episodes where the cursor arrow turned into the right-left double-headed arrow, and while I could move it around the screen, nothing I tried to click it on worked. I had to hit Control + Alt + Delete to unfreeze. Not sure what I'd done to make that happen, but hopefully it won't be a recurring bug/feature.

I had to log in continuously while setting up my profile and preferences, and occasionally have been unceremoniously logged out while surfing, but I'm attributing that to start-up issues.

I've had a few moments where I can't connect to the board, but I can put that down to my Cable Provider being flaky on occasion. Especially as everything else froze at the same time.

I haven't had any problems with being logged out or time-outs or anything like that all the while I've been on here this evening, yesterday and Saturday. And search works too. This is a distinct improvement on previous board experiences.

Well to be fair the new board has only a squillionth of the posts of the old board. Best give it a year or two and see how it fares with a big database.

I like the expanded range of smilies, but there's still too few of them. I won't be truly happy until I'm able to make posts in which I take so long to decide which smiley I want to use, that I quite forget what I wanted to post about.
