Explain the icons by threads

What do all the various icons by thread titles mean?
There's a light bulb shaped one, in red or blue, sometimes it has a star on the top right side.
There's a circle with text, again in red or blue, sometimes with the star, and sometimes the text is scrolling.

What's the difference between the red and blue? What does the star mean? What does the scrolling text mean?

Now that we have other styles available, I find this only applies the the prosilver theme.
