    Default Moderator elections

I think, with the increase number of posters, and extra forum, that it's time to expand the moderatorship. Four people had volunteered to become moderators, excluding MsRobyn and danceswithcats, and I think that there's scope for two more moderators. Obviously, this calls for an election.

Register your votes below. Top two most popular choices will become moderators. The poll runs for one day.

(To stop the appointment of moderators become a popularity contest, I'll keep it so that only half are elected, if everybody doesn't mind. That way, I get to appoint people with slightly differing views from the majority, who would never become elected, e.g. I believe danceswithcats identifies as a conservative, whereas most SDMB posters do not.)

Indeed, that's my campain platform: vote for me and I'll kill you.

Wait, that's not it. Vote for me OR I'll kill you. Yeah. That makes more sense.

Remember: a vote for Smith is a vote for progress. And survival. Seriously.

A vote for me is a vote for another cat moderator and everyone likes cats, don't they?

Yes. That's why they should vote for ME.

I use the same name as here. Whether you would recognise it or not is another matter.

Heh, with Winston there knowing him, he'd just lie about being a Moderator to get lynched....

So I'm gonna go with my guy here and say that CaiS is the way to go- he's usually got a good head on his shoulders, and I think he's probably the most likely to a be a Scum.
    Vote CAIS.
    With a FoS on Winston.

I for one welcome our new Moderator Overlords.

At the same time, I wouldn't mind throwing my own hat in the ring for being a moderator on one of the forums. Perhaps the Pit, IMHO or Jibber Jabber. Start small, that sort of thing.

You are not a real person! Everybody loves cats.* Plus, the government is working on that whole "allow people to have decent education and become informed" thing, and soon it shall be no more.

    * However, I think I might be able to understand that a person named "fisheroo" might just be allowed to hate cats.

Looks like BiblioCat and Winston Smith are the two new moderators. Congratulations.

The losers of this election will automatically be entered into the next one. PM me if you wish to be considered for a moderator spot, for the next set of openings.

I vote for CatInASuit and garygnu. I actually don't have a personal preference, but I just wanted to make this more of a contest.

    Good luck, guys!
