If that were true, it'd be Urine Stream.
Still too kind. What's wrong with ShitStream?
Sounds like a night of too much Mexican food washed down with too much beer.
As a wanna be medico, ShitStream doesn't work for me. Shit is beautiful. Shit is full of information about what's going on in your body. Shit is full of nutrients which, although we can't use them, are great for plants and substantially nutritive. Taking a good shit can change your life, or at least feel as overwhelmingly powerful and shiver inducing as a good orgasm.
Urine? Meh. Urine is sterile. It's dead. It's devoid of anything of interest. It has to be there, I suppose, but it's more of an inconvenience than anything else.
Whatever became of the moment when one first knew about death? There must have been one. A moment. In childhood. When it first occurred to you that you don't go on forever. Must have been shattering. Stamped into one's memory. And yet, I can't remember it.
Don't look now, but I think GusNSpot just joined us.

I don't know that there's a proper medical term for it, but something like vomit flow seems most apt to me: poorly digested matter, toxic and harmful to the body, forcibly ejected by a process that is loud, embarrassing and so disgusting that it can trigger reflexive gagging in bystanders.
I think I just Carol Streamed a little in my mouth after reading that.
Aww, c'mon, I love lekatt and kanicbird. It's fun to poke them with sticks and see what kind of cRaZy comes out.
????
I really don't like lekatt, because of the way he derails GD threads that had the potential to be very interesting. kanicbird doesn't bother me so much simply because the kinds of threads he posts in are ones I don't generally bother reading!

THE POWER OF DOMEBO!
TPTB at the Dope are definitely reading here. They just changed my SDSAB label over to Charter Member.
It matters naught, but I was distinctly annoyed that they didn't even give Giraffe that much token recognition when he stepped down. The guy played it straight from the start and tried his level best to warn them against this clusterfuck. He also stayed very civil to Ed and Co. since.
The saddest part is that this latest nasty blow-up was entirely preventable.
Oh well. Apparently TPTB don't care and after all this time, I don't much either.
I still have my SDSAB, but I wonder for how much longer?

Aside from the most egregious of the Mods and Admins (Ed, CK Dex, Tuba, and Lynn) I'd be happy to see anyone over here. Especially people I've disagreed with in the past, because they are the entire reason that interactive forums are entertaining. Who wants to sit around going, "Me, too!" all day long?
FWIW, Guin, (and then I'll quit this..detour? Not-quite-a-hijack.) I'm certain it wasn't Ed. It was well beneath his radar. It was nothing more than an impulse, I'm quite sure, and actually sort of understandable. I never criticized anything about the board before; I just kept quiet when I couldn't be supportive. It probably felt like betrayal. And it was rectified immediately when I e-mailed about it. If Ed had done it, I'd still be banned.Originally posted by Guinastasia
The really sad thing is that I really like Lynn, Jenny and Dex. They're all good people. (Don't care much for Ed but fortunately he was never around anyway, even when he was needed.) They just don't seem able to change along with the ways the board has.
I've read that several times today, Veb, that Lynn and Jenny are sweet people IRL, and I don't doubt it for a second. (Dex is pretty sweet online as well, and I have no trouble believing it of him IRL either.) The problem is they come across as bitches from hell frequently in their official roles on the SD, and the more that gets pointed out to them, the nastier, and more irrational and condescending they behave in response. Mostly what I hear, and what I think, is that neither of them has what it takes to mod a MB at this point, and should be led gently out to pasture. The suggestion, however, seems to send Ed into a rage, the likes of which may end causing the SD to implode....

Personally, I could do without gonzomax. His blend of hostility, ignorance and know-it-all-ism gets under my skin something fierce.
I quite like Lynn as a poster-however, it seems she's really burned out, and could probably due with a break.
If we're talking mods, I've always liked tomndebb and SkipMagic.

I like Lynn the poster, I really dislike Lynn the Pit-mod. She appears capricious and cranky as a mod.Originally posted by Guinastasia
tomndebb is a great poster and a solid mod consider the abuse he takes.
SkipMagic is a very good mod though he just oddlygave me a Mod Notefor picking on DSYoungEsq. My post was amazingly mild for the thread.
fluiddruid, samclem, InvisibleWombat and C K Dexter Haven are great as a posters and mods.
Marley23is a great poster and good mod.
Gfactor is a great mod and his legal posts are very readable. I don't really recall his other posts.
I like TubaDiva quite a bit, I know that is an unpopular view.
Colibri is a great poster and normally a good mod but he should have apologized for the Sapo silliness.
I don't notice or interact with the other mods enough for an opinion.
Most of the mods are pretty cool-although I think it was the whole Stage Manager thing that pissed me off about Tuba. Because then he filed a big fuss over the whole thing, and we had to deal with THAT shit.
But I do think that Lynn and Tuba seem really, REALLY burned out, and need to retire, or at least, take a break.
What about manhattan? Can we get him over here?

Don't much give a hairy shit who comes over here, though I think the poster I'd least like to interact with would be Weirddave. He seemed, more than anybody else, to relish being a dick just for the sake of it. Also, I met him at a Dopefest once, and his user name was apt. Creepy motherfucker IRL.

I see I didn't make anyone's list of useless wankers--things are looking up for me, then! This feels weird, but good, too. I'm still over on the SDMB and probably will stay on both.
It's nice to see so many Dopers here that I respect and like. I can't really think of anyone I would want to not migrate here, because we need the stimulation they provide. Plus, it's fun to soundly mock them.
Dave's always been nice to me, (well, even though he's a RAVEN'S FAN!) but it seemed like he's gotten VERY hateful in the past year or so-who knows? Wonder what's up?
My main problem with Der Trihs isn't his beliefs but HOW he expresses them.

Though, while I quite enjoy spewing vitriol and getting worked up over some of the absolute dipshit posts some people are known for, I don't really hate anyone in these threads. Usually after I've gone off on a poster I've forgotten who I was mad at a few minutes later (unless it's an ongoing thread and we're arguing back and forth).

This I understand, but I find it more refreshing than aggravating. His posts don't come off to me as being written to inflame or insult, but rather as honest, unshrouded, expressions of his views. While this may lead to some ill-will, I prefer that to faking a respect for views you find abhorrent or unsupportable.Originally posted by Guinastasia

Disagreeing with people is fine. The problem is when people argue disingenuously. I've liked Bricker a lot, because even though we disagree on a lot of stuff, he always has good (legal, when it applies) reasoning to back up his position. I think he was the guy who was arguing in a GD or Pit thread that gay marriage shouldn't be called marriage, and after a few pages of arguments, conceded that he was wrong. Not agreeing to disagree, not walking away, flat out saying "I'm wrong." That I admire. I hope he shows up here.
