    Default Blood Moon

For anyone looking outside their window tonight, there is an extra special lunar event going on. A supermoon combined with a lunar eclipse which hasn't occurred for 30 years and won't occur for several more.

With any luck, as in we actually have clear skies, it should turn nicely red sometime around 1am London time.

There are also plenty of superstitions surrounding the event, with some considering it THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT! Though its more likely life will go on more as usual.

Oh well, time to set an alarm...

Just for once, the skies were clear and the view of the moon was fantastic. Normally, we have cloud cover, if not lots of rain.

Went walking around at about 9pm to look at the moon and see how bright and large it was. Then got up a few times in the middle of the night to see the eclipse itself.

Was stunning to watch it change colour
