The BBT Thread
Yeah, so I'm about someway through my first *Big Bang Theory* show. I've seen some of it before, like that Penny with her face and stuff and the Indian guy.
So I knew what the basic idea was.
Eh, it's kind of funny, I guess.
But I think a friend might come visit me in about a month or so, and I think he might be like that Sheldon person. That is kind of annoying.
Obviously, I like this guy well enough -- he has read some of the same books (he read some different special books and I read real things actual people care about) plus all of the things literate people read (I do not count industry specialists, like literary editors or adjunct professors of literature who have not published acceptably-researched studies ranging across several diverse areas of study among the literate) and whatever and isn't some religious nutjob.
Yeah, whatever, it's kind of funny, but not very funny show.

Also in other news that other show with the "Glee" club started. Yeah, I remember Jane Lynch from that, and then that kid died and everybody was like "Oh No!"
I prefer to think the Jewish girl is twenty years old.
And I will not watch any more.
And this is why I am not allowed to watch TV. Because being perv and stuff.

Oh shit, I was just about out the door to do something and I had to double-take....I couldn't believe they were doing 'I got a woman' on some big show like that "Glee" thing.
Nice, original take. How old is that girl doing it? She couldn't be more than 17? She must have had some help to make the arrangement sound different than the way (a) Af did it and (b) the organ guys (and therefore me who copies them) do it.
Nice.
And since am not a total dick, here's something I liked from headphones early this morning -- Booker T did that whole "House of the rising sun" and then went into his little "Sunny." I've been playing "Sunny" since forever (great changes, and everybody does it, so you gotta do it), but I never noticed that.

I like BBT. Yeah, some of the jokes are kinda broad, and yeah, the guys are too nerdy to be true: They're "everything" nerds, about comics, TV, movies, games and science, instead of just having one or two things, like most nerds. Still, mostly the jokes are pretty good, and the characters and situations are actually pretty on the point: things happen to Leonard that are so much like my life, I wonder if somebody was taking notes.

I like BBT, but it doesn't kill me when I miss a show. And while Leonard is just a little too annoying sometimes, Penny's hawtness more than makes up for it.

Never a fan and dislike it more the more I try to watch it.

when one watches the show one embraces outright loathing for one`s peers, and in laughing, gives a potent finger to the bastards.
makes me happy anyway.
never laugh with unless shemp Howard is involved. Always at and against.
