Just had to get this off my chest.
WTF, Chrome? I'm used to using Firefox + UnMHT (it's an extension that lets one save multiple tabs in the MHT format [all graphics and stuff like that is packed into one file, instead of spread out in a separate, dedicated subdirectory] for offline reading) + DownloadHelper for videos -- music or lectures or whatever.
In this way I can read occasional threads from some verbose boards and stupid stuff like cracked.com multipage jokes at my leisure.
So, I'm used to having Chrome open, because it's much better at keeping track of google accounts and stuff, in addition to Firefox for any kind of browsing. Chrome does have some inferior-to-crippleware versions of the two basic browsing extensions needed for offline reading/viewing, but nothing remotely close to an UnMHT-type thing.
So, like WTF? I'm pretty sure extension-writing are incentivized profit-centers for groups or individuals who are target-oriented and synergistic with a view to positive outcomes, so like why so lazy, codemonkeys?
