Default Which Monopoly piece would you get rid of?

Hasbro have called time on one of the pieces in a Monopoly set, with the idea of adding a brand new up-to-date one instead. They are running a large poll to find out which one should be permanently removed from the game.

So which one would you get rid of and what, more modern, piece would you replace it with?

I voted Shoe, but Iron is the only one I'm heart set that they should keep.

Oddly I voted Iron. It is probably the most dated with many kids never seeing an iron in use and some households not having one at all.

Do you just wear crinkly clothes? How do you get away with not having an iron?

Pull from dryer, shake and hang immediately. Very few of my clothes wrinkle unless they are jammed into a laundry basket.

USA went business casual over the last 20 years and almost universally so about 10 years ago. Thus the iron is disappearing and young professionals don't use or own one. We have one but we're older and entered the professional work force when suits and ties were still required. I've used it very rarely in the last 12 years.

I use our iron maybe once a month. Not all of my dress shirts are non-wrinkle.

I voted to eliminate the Wheelbarrow. Just never liked it (who wants to be reminded of hard manual labor while playing a game?). I almost invariably choose the Battleship myself. Second pick: Top Hat, 'cause it's classy.

I know iron use is less than it used to be but I don't think I know anyone who doesn't own an iron. Even in casual dress like jeans and a tee people look better in freshly ironed get up.

I voted for the dog. Nothing against the piece, but everything else just feels quintessentially Monopoly to me.

The Thimble is my favourite piece. So quaint, so adorable. Though judging by the way this conversation has turned, it might not be so popular. I mean, if you think an iron is antiquated...
Something tells me we haven't seen the last of foreshadowing.

I'm old enough to remember the Monopoly cannon:

But I never played with the lantern or the rocking horse:

As to the new possibilities, I think I'd vote for the helicopter:

    Kitty or Helo.

I have a set in the old yellow box with the old wooden pieces. But I don't remember the cannon, rocking horse or lantern at all.

My newer sets are without the battleship sadly.

ETA: Why a retro toy robot? That is pretty dumb.

Personally, I'm all for getting rid of the Scottie Dog and replacing it with the cat. But then I'm biased like that.
