    Default Vampire Slaying Kit.

Now you can probably buy BtVS kits or Van Helsing kits, but does anyone fancy an original 19th Century Vampire Kit.

Containing everything you could possibly need to fend off and track the the evil blighters, and containing several religious items, mallet and stakes, garlic and holy water.

Ok, its more likely that someone put the bits together and are selling them as a pack, but it does look good.

    Few more details over here.

I want it. It's probably fakery but I Do. Not. Care.

One of my favorite parts in The Historian (The world's best book about archival research and vampires and how they are inextricably combined) is when Professor Bora shows off his vampire-hunting kit.

Cool stuff, even if (as seems likely) a fake.

    My three favorite vampire books:

    'Salem's Lot by Stephen King
Fevre Dream by George R.R. Martin
    Blood Oath by Christopher Farnsworth

I'm not a huge vampire fan, but that is still very cool. Johnny Depp should buy it - I read that he asked Tim Burton to make the Dark Shadows movie because he'd always been fascinated with vampires.

Speaking of Johnny Depp and that movie (which was okay, nothing special), I'm still trying to figure out how Johnny Depp can be made up to look so pasty and abnormal, yet still have so much sex appeal.

King's books don't usually get to me, but that one really freaked me out.

Seeing as how I don't think he's aged in the last 10 years or so, I wouldn't be surprised if he was a creature of the night.

My cousin and I read 'Salem's Lot together when we were in our very early teens and it left us both incredibly creeped out. The emphasis on the relationships between all of the people just made it so much worse than most vampire stories I've read.

The authenticity or fakeness of the kit doesn't matter much to me. I just think it's cool, like a nice replica sword.
So now they are just dirt-covered English people in fur pelts with credit cards.

Waitaminnit. Everything in that kit except for the garlic is threatening, repellent, or potentially harmful to me in some way.

It would never stick to my icy cold, marble-white skin anyway.

The Bible quote is from Luke 19:27 and is a Proverb not a psalm, and is misquoted as is usual.
