    Default Youtube music

Was there a youtube music thread around here? Am I just blind? Well, anyway, I've been listening to All Songs Considered on MPR and I think I'm in love. Two that they played and I can't get out of my head are

    and

Although the beginning percussion is so much more vibrant and jarring when I listen to the one from ASC with headphones.
I don't think so, therefore I'm probably not.

Several songs I've been listening to a lot lately:

"Some Nights," by Fun - a great driving beat:

"Opening," by Paul Leonard-Morgan, from the Limitless soundtrack - perfectly atmospheric:

"DJ Got Us Fallin in Love," by Usher - catchy song and great dancing sfx:

It's been a while since we've had an active YouTube thread. Seems as good a time as any to start up a new one!

I really like "All the Rowboats". I don't think I've listened to anything from Regina Spektor before.

I enjoyed this song off the album, but the video just kind of...neugh. I can only assume it was meant to be creepy.

So now they are just dirt-covered English people in fur pelts with credit cards.

I always feel I ought to like Regina Spektor just a little more than I do. I still think she's good, though.
I completely loved the first song (the Kishi Bashi one).

That said, I do love this Regina Spektor song (famously in the Chronicles of Narnia). This is a fan-made video apparently by a 7th-Grader.

Recently found on Youtube - footage from a documentary I haven't seen in probably close to two decades. Back when I liked what the RHCP were doing.

And wow, Chad Smith looks exactly like Will Ferrell.
