If you haven't been following the Volt's short career, it's worth knowing that Fox News has made it the whipping boy of their anti-Obama rhetoric.
It doesn't work, it catches fire, Obama made GM build it as a condition of the bail out, it costs a fortune to operate, no one wants them, they suck...

That is surprising. Though I had no idea that Fox was slamming the Volt. Pretty funny the weak arguments they were making. My only complaint is that the Volt is pretty expensive for what you get and doesn't have great range. If I could spend that kind of money I would hold out for the Tesla sedan.
Wait, I'm confused. You're looking for intelligent coverage and intellectual consistency from Fox News?
Its simple: There's lots of phone hacking dirt on Rupert that's bubbling to the surface. Including stuff that could bring serious legal action against him, his kids, and News Corporation as a whole. Backing the Volt is an attempt to curry favor and get the heat off them.
