Default I'm really really busy but I haven't forgotten Mello.

I've started working full-time again, so I've just been kind of swamped and haven't had time to post much, but I have been checking in about every day. I'm sure things will settle down a bit soon and I can spend more time thinking up stupid topics for threads like usual.

    Full-time work is good, Sarah.

Tell us about it when you've got the time.

Good to hear you're working full time again, hope the job works out.

Would have thought you got to comfortable shuffling around in your underwear to be employable.

When's the last time you've been to a dry cleaner?

Ha ha, I'm working at home, mostly. No dry cleaning necessary!

Mellophant: constantly flirting with the event horizon of an internet black hole. And we like it that way, dammit.

    Look! I'm alive. Sort of.

I got extremely sick after coming to visit Marsilia and what I'd thought would lead to plenty of free time instead lead to lying on her couch, slowly dying. The past three weeks are kind of a blur of non-activity and pained whimpering. Now I know how the board feels.

The good news is I'm no longer deaf in my right ear and I can speak about 50% of the time. I can't tell you how happy this makes me.

    What were you sick with?

Strep throat and I had a secondary infection in my ear, which led to a burst ear drum. I'm still waiting for the swelling in my throat to go down. Marsilia says my neck looks fine, but I feel like it's so big I resemble a snake that's choked on a rabbit. There was a brief period involving a rash, as well. It's been...fun.

(It seems as though just about everybody got something very similar, except I don't think anyone else was sick for longer than three days.)

Bumping this because I posted on another thread and Orual wanted to know how I was.

I am great. Busier than I ever have been in my entire life, though. Working full-time again, as I mentioned. I'm actually working at home which is awesome and will be particularly so when school starts. But, now that the kids are off for the summer I pretty much only take breaks to make sandwiches and drive them to their random activities. It's cutting into my Mello time severely!
