Very sad to report Etta James just passed away. I didn't post about it as I wasn't expecting her to have any other fans on the board. Glad to be wrong. Still sad she is gone. I got to see her live once in Red Bank.

I think that all her troubles kind of made people forget how good she once was, and also I think that she sang the kind of music that a lot of us don't really listen to. But...man, losing her really makes you realize how rare of a talent she had.
