    Default How to follow Santa?

With the NORAD Santa tracker of course.

It also has a full FAQ on Santa as well.

    I'm suddenly feeling all Christmassy

I think I'll load this up on my Nook, so my niece can watch it live tonight from bed.
So now they are just dirt-covered English people in fur pelts with credit cards.

I've got the app on my phone, and the kids have been asking me all day "Where is Santa now?" Right now he's in Bratislava, Slovakia, in case you were curious.

I saw the subject and the first answer that popped into my head was, "Why NORAD of course."

The have a special emblem for it:

What I love best is the story of how it began:
The program began on December 24, 1955 when a Sears department store placed an advertisement in a Colorado Springs newspaper which told children that they could telephone Santa Claus and included a number for them to call. However, the telephone number printed was incorrect and calls instead came through to Colorado Springs' Continental Air Defense Command (CONAD) Center. Colonel Shoup, who was on duty that night, told his staff to give all children that called in a "current location" for Santa Claus. A tradition began which continued when the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) replaced CONAD in 1958

Aw. I hadn't read that story before. That's fantastic.

Merry Christmas All. We just got back from dinner at my parents with all my sibs and exchanging of presents.
Then we lit the Menorah and now we're all playing on computers or the Wii.

Tomorrow the kids open the presents from us and Santa.
