Default Single Serving Pie in a Jar

    What a gloriously elegant idea.

You fill a small canning jar with pie crust and pie filling, then freeze it. Whenever you're feeling like just a bit of pie (or an adorable gift to give someone) you just take it out and bake!

I need to find some jars that would work for this and give it a try now.

Full instructions and some recipes here.
So now they are just dirt-covered English people in fur pelts with credit cards.

I can see that working superbly at Christmas with individual mince pies.
