    Default X minus 1: '50s sci-fi radio drama

This was linked over on SDMB. I had heard a couple of the episodes before but I didn't know so many still existed and were available free. I don't know if any of you have ever listened to them before, but some of them are great, very atmospheric.

I'm listening to The Green Hills of Earth hoping it is based on the Heinlein short story.

    It is, it is!

Waaaahhhhhh!!! It looks great, but nothing happens when I click on the window. I'll get this solved, though. (Is it a browser problem maybe? My default is Safari. I hope the problem is not that I'm in Indonesia, that would suck.)

You can stream the audio using the player or download the MP3s and play them from your home computer.

    Hooked.

"And the Moon be still and bright" is great old skool scifi - the science is dodgey as shit, but the human factor is good. Which is better than the average modern scifi, disappointing as that is.
Something tells me we haven't seen the last of foreshadowing.

Yeah the dodgy science is kinda charming in its way.
