    Default Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy

There is a remake coming of John Le Carre's classic spy story, Tinker, Tailor, Soldier Spy and instead of Alec Guiness, it's starring Gary Oldman instead.

I'm wondering how they are going to fit what was a seven hour mini series into a 2-3 film, because they is a lot of material, most of it necessary.

OTOH, if they have another excellent british cast, I may just have to go and watch this.

My dad was a huge Le Carre fan. I have high hopes for the movie remake.

I haven't read the book, but the cast looks amazing. Gary Oldman AND Colin Firth AND Benedict Cumberbatch AND Tom Hardy AND it's a gritty espionagey-looking deal?

    I am so there.

You should try getting hold of the BBC Original. It's one of the finest mini-series going.

I have the original series on DVD, alas I haven't had a chance to watch it. My ma watched it recently, enjoyed it.
