    Whoa. Me neither.
So now they are just dirt-covered English people in fur pelts with credit cards.

Crazy. Then again, I AM old enough to remember when everyone drank Tab (I have a brother-in-law who is about 10 years older than me, and he still drinks it!)

If your BIL was a lab rat, he would be riddled with tumors at this point.

It seems nuts that you can still get Tab. Also interesting is that despite Diet Sprite, Coke went and modernized and relaunched Fresca a couple of years ago.
It's pretty yummy, actually, a little grapefruity.

If Fresca now has a taste that bears a resemblance to anything existing in nature, that's quite a feat of modernization.

I had a Squirt a couple of weekends ago. I'd forgotten it existed. Grapefruit makes a good soda.

Oh, Squirt is awesome. I always forget it exists until I have it again and remember how much I like it.

I remember the summer of '82 well (the summer of the HAWT psycho girlfriend) and have no memories of Diet Coke being introduced.

Now, the summer of New Coke....

A couple of meaningful 1982 milestones:

    Thriller was released.

The first compact disc was sold in Japan.
