I'm diving into Kim, by Rudyard Kipling. 15% in (no page numbers on the Kindle), it's a whole lot of fun so far.

Just finished reading The Grand Design.

Interesting, but too short, and ultimately not as satisfying as I would have liked.

It's available on YouTube as well. I forget which link I found, but I'm sure there are half a dozen or more.

I'm reading nothing for fun and everything for work right now. Sigh.

I do look forward to, someday, having the time to read for pleasure again.
So now they are just dirt-covered English people in fur pelts with credit cards.

I'm taking a break from my Victorian kick to read the Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson, which my friends Joe and Angie got me for my birthday. It's been an interesting read so far, 20% (no page numbers on the Kindle) into the first book. Simultaneously utterly unique and painfully derivative. I'm enjoying it quite a bit.

My friends are telling me I should pick up that series. I liked Sanderson's Elantris.

I am in a book rut. Nothing I have appeals, and nothing really fascinating is coming up on my nook searches. This makes me grumpy.
