Steve Martin is one of a very few celebrities that radiate a sense of being a truly decent human being, in addition to famous/talented/good-looking/witty/whatever (all of which he is). He's also written a couple of works of fiction that I think impressed the critics, though I haven't read them. (Shop Girl and The Pleasure of My Company.)
I'm still waiting for the video to download; it's excruciatingly slow. But I'm sure I'll like it.
I think he's a genius, just amazingly multi-talented.
In honor of this thread, I'm going to download and read his books (assuming they are available on Kindle, but I'm hoping they are.)
