    Default Republican Presidential Debate

    Anyone else watch it?

This bit with Ron Paul really stood out for me:

So now they are just dirt-covered English people in fur pelts with credit cards.

I was disappointed. But I was expecting this:

The ones on TV weren't nearly as cute.

Aw, yes. That would have been much cuter. Though not as funny as getting an auditorium of Republicans in South Carolina to cheer heroin on national television.

    That was awesome.

Do any of them actually look like someone who could beat Obama in a presedential election?

I don't think so. I would like to see someone like Ron Paul get the nomination (fat chance, that), just to push the national discussion away from the extremes of social conservatism, but I don't think any of the contenders right now have a good shot against Obama. A lot of things could change before the election, though.

    That would be nice.

There would be real debate. Good conversation.
