Over the next few seconds, Mindjack and Kamaria head back for Destruction's ship closely followed by Lovelace. Funshine starts running for the craft, still gauntleted, with Terawatt right behind the curious creature.

Deca pushes forward a couple of people who say they can remove gauntlets if freed and then stands back while they are freed by Flicker and Fitheal.

After that, the three of them run back to the ship and dive on board. The engines whine and increase in power as the incoming Barracuda swoops in. The prisoners scatter as it fires down at them ploughing a furrow of energy bolts as it aims towards the craft you are on. Destruction's craft takes off sharply, throwing those not secured across the cabin, and narrowly avoiding being hit. Then it fires back hitting the Barracuda and dropping it into the prison compound. As you head off, you can see its occupants crawling out and running headlong into several, very unhappy ex-prisoners who are taking a little bit of rough justice on them.

The journey back is quick and with the Barracuda downed, there is no pursuit. The craft touches down in one of Southport's more salubrious areas. The hatch opens and Destruction points to an abandoned warehouse.

"GOOD! You have done as I have asked. I thank you for your service tonight. You performed better than I thought you would. I suggest you come up with a team name for yourselves. You’re an Omega cell now, whether you want to be or not. I’ll be in touch.”

He gestures to Flicker, Terawatt, Fitheal and Lovelace to leave. Something passes between Destruction and Deca and she stops rising from her seat and sits back down again.

To Funshine telepathically: I would have words with you and how you came to be as such. If you answer true you may join this cell, answer false and you will join nothing.

To Kamaria telepathically: It seems Mindjack likes you, I will then make this offer. You can join this cell or you can go back to where you were.

Fitheal is still a little shell shocked by all this and heads off the ship. "Well, I am not use to teams, but then this foe is far worse then the English Kings and their wood cutters and even worse then modern man's consumerism."

"Don't have much choice, do we?" Lovelace says as soon as Destruction has left the room. "Hey, is there a coffee pot around here? Girl needs a fix after a mission!"

"I was never much of a team player, still less one for a boss. But the last time I met V'sori, I got my ass kicked - I figure we all did. Seein' the ass-kickin' go the other way this time felt way better, an' the Doc showed up right on time at the finish. So I guess I can swallow a little teamwork for now, especially if it means crispin' every stinkin' alien that can't keep its green slime off'f our planet!

"How 'bout we call ourselves The Resistance? Seems like a name with... potential."

Terawatt is amusing himself by letting off little electric blasts, as though he were channelling , but threatening no-one with them. He seems to feel a good deal of satisfaction at getting to exercise his talents.

"I'm safer in a group than on my own. I'll gladly stay with this cell," Kamaria decides. "I will at some point soon need to check on an...ally of mine, though." Practicality leads her to join the cell, but paranoia suggests not revealing the existence of her daughter just yet. Too many have proven themselves untrustworthy for her to offer up such a bargaining chip so quickly.

Terawatt's suggestion for a name makes Kamaria smirk slightly. "Yes, I like 'The Resistance.'"
So now they are just dirt-covered English people in fur pelts with credit cards.

    "Viva Le Resistance!"

    "OK, that works for me."

"So I am confused, is there a teddy bear on our team?"

Responding in my mind I guess: I fought my way up from the pit of hell and back to the mortal realm. Then...there were some complications.

Flicker groans at Terawatt's puns, "Oh geez, that was tera-ble."

Looking around the warehouse, "Hmm, sparse, dusty, well hidden. I've been in worse places and seeing as going back to my previous place is unlikely to happen anytime soon, it's home sweet home."

Looking back out the door at the craft, "Well Deca looks as though she is staying, what's happening there, and that one Mindjack wanted is joining us. Teddy probably will if Destruction doesn't want to vivsect him."

"Hey if we are stuck together it might be a good idea to get to know each other a little better, and coffee sounds like a great idea."

Destruction accepts Kamaria's response and allows her to leave the craft and join the cell. "I would be careful of your ally, this is not a safe city."

Turning to Funshine, he fixes him with a glare. Then he picks him up by the Nullifer Gauntlets and looks at what he is holding. A minute or so passes before you hear the eerie sound of Destruction laughing, made all the worse for the armour he is wearing.

"Someone has a sense of humour; that amuses Destruction", he says crushing the Gauntlets and freeing the little teddy bear. "You will join this cell, you will not betray them. Otherwise you will go right back where you belong and this time there will be no escape."

One of the guards passes across a set of commlink units and gives them to Funshine before forcibly escorting him from the craft in the general direction of the warehouse.

The engines fire up and Destruction looks back. "I will call on you again!"

Over the next few days, Kamaria will call her eagle companion to her and ensure that Izzy is in good health. If the bird has been injured or requires anything after Kamaria's absence, she'll see to it that the bird is well cared for. She will also attempt to discreetly contact the family her daughter was left with during her imprisonment, to let them know that she's free again and check after her child.

Lovelace will retire to her penthouse secret hideout in Westpoint and begin to discreetly research the Omegan resistance. She's got plans for a couple of new powered devices, and a visit to Heroes to ask a couple discreet questions to the owner might be a good idea, just to keep up on the gossip and local events. Other than that, she'll keep working on her devices, enjoying her custom coffeemaker, and maybe make a couple of discreet transactions on the Internet-- her success in crashing a V'sori network ought to be worth something to the right people, and the V'sori will probably close that particular loophole soon anyway. A handful of cash never hurt anyone.

Flicker spends some time setting up an area in the warehouse and then practices teleporting to it a couple of times while wearing a blindfold, which works more often than not. Then he begins to spend more time working out to build up a bit of strength.

Other than that, he goes to spend a little bit of time getting to know the others and seeing what they can do. He decides at this time against contacting anyone externally because he's fairly certain he was setup by someone and wants to let them think they have got away with it so far.

(Sorry this is kind of late, I just finished moving into the dorms and my chaotic first week of school).

Thaddeus summons patches and the two spend the bulk of their day doing push ups, sit ups, literally bench pressing each other, and practicing attacking while holding one another atop their shoulders.
