Last year, my daughter and I rode over to the park and then down to a pond. I look forward to spring to get back on the bike in fact.

Does a canoe count? I went canoeing a couple times last summer.

Last time I saw a play was too long ago. It was a few months after Spamalot opened on Broadway. We just priced tickets for the Addams Family and by the time we were done for a family of 4 the day was far to expensive. Over $800 is not reasonable. So unless I luck into some discount tickets, the next play I go to will be local and thusly cheap.
Oh, come to think about it, we went to a 6th grade play a couple of years ago. I wasn't counting that though.

Late 2006, when I went to Iraq last time. I came home in 2008 though. So it was a decent length of a stay abroad.

When was the last time you looked up at the stars for more than a few seconds?
I'm trying to remember if this was the last time I did this...we were driving home from California a year ago last Christmas. We pulled off the road somewhere I think in New Mexico because there were so many stars. Neither of us had ever seen as many, it was gorgeous.
When was the last time you rode on a train?
Not counting subway or commuter train? Last August, when we travelled across the States by train, a wonderful experience.
When was the last time you went to the beach?
Galveston, with artifex and AndrewRyan, almost exactly a year ago.
When was the last time you went over 24 hours without sleep?
I don't think I ever have, although I was once in a marathon D&D session that kept me up for about 12 hours, from dusk until dawn. I went to bed early that night.

I don't think I have asked for a recipe, although I have been asked.
