Default What's the last book you bought?

I'm all obsessed with books lately. Yesterday I got the following books on my nook:

First, on a recommendation from my mother:

Second, because I just watched The Shawshank Redemption and wondered to myself why I'd never read the story:

For myself I bought Colonel Roosevelt by Edmund Morris.

I have an accumulation of used books that I have been reading since and some rereads.

I just finished Tad Williams: Tailchasers Song.

Sarahfeena, I think you'll love that King compilation. Not only does it have Shawshank, but it has Apt Pupil (much creepier and better than the film), and The Body (much better than Stand By Me, the film it became).

Yes, I'm actually rather intrigued by the whole collection. I'm about halfway through Shawshank, and it's amazing how closely the movie reflects the book, with so much of the narration used word-for-word. Course, I can only hear it in Morgan Freeman's voice!

By the way, if any of you aren't on my Goodreads yet...well, what's your problem? (see sig)

I've got a store full so it's hard to recall.

Currently finishing off Red Plenty, Hotel California and Amexica.
