Default Poems to Mellos from Mellos

After seeing a recent poem dedicated to Sarahfeena, I thought it would be good to have a thread specifically for that.

    Sarahfeena
    ballerina
    today she may
    do a plié.

There once was a fellow named spitz
Who was talented at doing the splits
He could put one foot on his head
While he danced on his bed
But his pants were all full of rips
So now they are just dirt-covered English people in fur pelts with credit cards.

There once was a Mello named Zuul,
Who winded her hair on a spool,
    it caused so much pain,
    She said, 'never again',
And the agony caused her to drool.

There once was a Mello called Rube,
Who found himself trapped in a cube.
    He found a way out
    then started to shout -
As he ran, he tripped over a pube.

There once was a Cat In A Suit,
Who played us a song on the flute.
    The song was so bad,
    It made us all mad,
'Til we realised we could put him on 'mute'.

    Peeta is also a poster
Who once poured his beer in a toaster
    It hissed and it sparked
    'Til his kitchen went dark
    What an emotional roller coaster.
So, I'll whisper in the dark, hoping you'll hear me.

Zuul likes to walk on her hands
And flick me with rubber bands
    She's evil and mean
It's a sight to be seen
Oh, I'm lying! Zuul is mighty grand
So, I'll whisper in the dark, hoping you'll hear me.

    hobbler is over at Mello
    he's quite an intelligent fellow.
    He does up CVs
    with the greatest of ease,
And mixes his gravy with jello.

    When people make Ireland jokes
Not screeching makes AG good folks
    He stays pretty mellow
    What a nice fellow
Makes me wonder what it is he smokes
So, I'll whisper in the dark, hoping you'll hear me.

Two more I wrote for respondents to my avatar thread:

I have recently found myself smitten
By the one for whom nothing is written
    His avatar made
    me very afraid -
SHE'S MAKING A SANDWICH OF KITTEN!!!
    ---------------------------

    Aggie made me an avatar
    It was really spectacular
    The boomerwang bulged
    My request was indulged
So I wrote this for him, a chara.

Sweet are the words by Marsilia's finger
They invite the reader to gratefully linger
She writes clever poems, as is her wont
Yes, that woman is one eloquent...chick

There once was a board full of lurkers
Who likely were mostly desk workers
    The board was named Mello
    Surely very fine fellows*
Who I'm sure never meant to be shirkers.

*My apologies to us ladies on the board. Hard to find stuff that rhymes with "mello."

    Sarah's a very nice lady
Who likes to tell tales of her babies
    She finds some things wrong
    With MotheringDotCom
Because there's a whole mess of crazy
So, I'll whisper in the dark, hoping you'll hear me.

A lot of you look at our threads
But hear that this place is quite dead
    Are you leery of posting?
    Why must you keep ghosting?
There's such interesting stuff in your heads
So, I'll whisper in the dark, hoping you'll hear me.

I've nothing of import to say
    But I'm here so I might as well stay;
    I'm almost as boring
    As beige vinyl flooring,
But at least I'm a really great lay!

And 5er's popularity grew three sizes that day.

We all know a guy named What Jim
    Got Tolkien questions? Ask him.
    On Mello he runs D&D.
Quite clever, I think he must be
And I'm not going out on a limb.

There once was a chap named Ivan
Who was really talented at survivin'
    He could dodge flying lead
And bite a chicken off from its head
I guess you'd say he was MacGuyvern

Spitz is a bloke from down under,
Who could tear ladies' underpants asunder,
    Cos on the guitar,
    He's a superstar,
And on weekends he drinks til he chunders.

'ave a good one, ya VB-sculling wanker
Something tells me we haven't seen the last of foreshadowing.

I have been finding that your descent into limericks
makes you all sound like you're in it for the kicks
to be honestly lauding your fellow mellophant
you need to praise them in a newly formed cant.
so with this vernacular in mind,
it is spitz that i think shall require payment in kind.

Oh spitz you are a very fine fellow
in fact i think you're an addition to mellow
and as much as i sometimes with you disagree
I think I'm happy just knowing your friends with me.

Thank you Zuul, I wish I could contribute to this thread but that way lays not my talents. I am enjoying reading it though.

Yea, with the butterflies she doth sleep.
Her beauty and brilliance can make a man weep.
Her fighting skills? On par with Israeli special forces.
Her strength? Greater than that of seven horses.
My poetic waxing should come as no surprise,
    For I adore Sleeps w/Butterflies.

Ramses is new to the board
    He's largely admired and adored
    He poasts and he reads
    Amongst tumbleweeds
Which he slashes to bits with a sword.

Mellophant - Orual's part of it
Bringing her charm and her wit
    She keeps rather quiet
    But maybe a riot
Will erupt if Orual is bit.

Mello is graced by Elendil's Heir
He's a clever chap with neurons to spare
    He likes RPGs -
He's quite good at these -
And his avatar's riding a mare

a fine mello poster called spitz
wrote poems and songs that were hits
    a talented fellow
    how lucky was mello
to have someone who can do rhymes and make them work properly

Hey, I don't drink XXXX... you're just stereotyping everyone who hates VB into one big category (and believe me, that is big)

This made me remember this thread:

    Weasel, Weasel,
    Where did you go?
"I went to Helsinki to take in a show."

    Weasel, Weasel,
    What did you see?
"I saw a young lady do things with her V."

    Weasel, Weasel,
    What did she do?
"She shot purple Ping-Pong balls from her vagoo."

    - from The Big Book of Fabricated Folktales from Finland
So now they are just dirt-covered English people in fur pelts with credit cards.
