Cancer isn't something you wish on anyone, but with people like this, it is very tempting. Just so they can know what it's really like.

Yep, I would never wish cancer on anyone but if he should now come down with it I would consider it fair karma.
His wife must have...issues. First, how could she believe his fake cancer claims and still see herself as a loving partner - a concerned wife of a genuinely sick person would be talking to doctors, standing by him during chemotherapy/radiation, etc. And now she's standing by him. She must be a pretty pathetic piece of work.
I'd wondered about that, too, Hatshepsut. If my partner had cancer I'd insist on being involved in appointments and treatment options.
So now they are just dirt-covered English people in fur pelts with credit cards.
