It's called a fuzzy navel when it's sans cranberry. I know this much. I also have lemons and limes and plenty of ice.
I am fond of this highball, though you could probably reduce the ginger ale and it would still be delicious:
2 parts Irish whiskey
2 parts ginger ale
1/2 part peach schnapps
splash of orange juice
lime wedge for garnish

Cool, that's very doable that one. There's a convenience store next door so i could pick up some ginger ale.
If the quantities are done right, it turns out a really nice gold color, too.

If you've got limes, I'd make a Cape Cod. If not, I'd just have a whiskey neat. I like old man drinks and abhor sugary ones, though.
