RE: storage/sharing sites.

I've tried a whole swag of these sites, and none of them will let me upload anything from my netbook, and imgur.com is the only one that lets me upload from a PC at the library. Is it something to do with wifi? Security settings? I want to upload sound files. Is there a way to do it?

I've tried box.net, and it seems to take some perverse pleasure in letting me down. I've tried many, many others I've randomly googled. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, dunno.

I already have imgur for image uploads, so I'm looking for something to upload .mp3's.

Can you walk me through exactly what you're doing?

Here's what I did: go to Box.net. Click on the box labeled "Try It Free". Click on "Sign up now" under "Personal". Fill out information.

Tell me what happens after that.

OK, I signed up again, and it finally let me upload something. But when I do upload something, it suddenly stops uploading, and it shows a window suggesting a list of futile things I can do to get around it.

Now it's suggesting I 'drag n drop'. I attempted this, then got a security message, asking me to accept a drag and drop application. I think I've been secretly and mysteriously blackballed from thes esites for some reason.
