I believe they have asked the England quicks to bowl underarm full tosses in the next innings.

The Ashes were already claimed, of course - but seeing Australia about to go down to a third innings defeat in the series is a huge bonus. At this time it gives me great pleasure to indulge in a big slice of schadenfreude.

Three innings defeats in a Test Series has never happened to Australia, let alone on their own soil.

And finally at some unearthly time in the morning, England managed to wrap up another innings victory, the third in the series, the second in a row and claim the Ashes fair and square.

The World is now a happy place.

Fair play to England - they played well. The Aussie team should be skinned alive. Shameful effort. To make things worse, I watched the last Test with 2 Poms...

I had to watch it with Kiwi's....

This has been coming for some time. Australia has let faded stars hang on too long and failed to bring young blood into the team. It's the early 80's all over again.

And I am now remembering my school rugger team cheerily carolling after a crushing win over our hated rivals "Oh, we gave 'em a fucking good hiding.." to the tune of "For he's a jolly good fellow". May as well enjoy it while it lasts.

I see that Hauritz has been called up for the One-Day squad. Now they call Hauritz up??
