Default Stupid silly season newspaper stories.

Oh give me a break. it's not even silly season.

Go back to covering important stories like Joe Biden saying he is going to run with Obama in 2012.

There are no, I repeat, no Great White Sharks off the coats of Britain. They may be some other forms of shark, but not this type. And now some "Expert" is claiming the shores are rife with them.

There is no evidence, no photos, no catches, but it doesn't mean they are not there.

    Maybe a couple of sightings...from a distance...on a foggy day.

I'd like to say the same about aliens, maybe the reporter's brain cells.

In the land of the blind, the one-arm man is king.

The UK is on... (dun dun DUN)

    SHARK ALERT!

So great whites have never ever ever before been reported in UK waters. The basking shark and porbeagle shark are both similar in looks and could be present in those waters. Basking sharks eat plankton and porbeagles don't get as big as the reported sightings, so either, a) people who are not experts and are seeing things from a distance may be mistaken on size or when they say they saw a shark eating fish or b) great white sharks have appeared out of nowhere.

    Hmm. Which sounds more likely?
