Never mind. Full PM inbox means lower capacity means not a mod.

You had to be removed from the moderator group to be put in the 101 Restricted group. I believe that's all that that means.

You are not a mod while in room 101. I am not sure how long you will be here. Do you want to be a mod when you get out?

Sorry I had to do this, but I think you pushed too hard and some things just need to get done.

I know you're retarded or cognitively impaired or whatever, Winston, but you can't possibly really be stupid enough to think you're going to stay a mode, can you?

Isn't the whole point of modes being that they're the people who DON'T need to be punished?

Don't be so sure of that. It is still up to CRSP or the other mods. Only one admin chose to 101 him.

Winston, I have told you and told you that now is not the time for this, that we cannot handle a drama like this right now. You either did not read what I said or you don't care.

Don't you ever again point the finger to me and Exy for damaging this board. You seem bound and determined to accelerate whatever crap is going on here. If you care about this place, stop acting like this.

I don't think any mod that went after pepper like that, and who has a serious hard-on for two members of the board (so much so that it apparently drowns out all rational thought) should be a mod here.

    But eh, not my decision.

I would like to stay on as a mod, Jim. I get the impression that you think I have undergone some sort of fundamental change in my attitudes about Domebo. This is not the case. I have atken an aggressive posture with a couple of our posters and for that I apogise. Sometimes it's hard to be heard above the din and confusion, and I was trying too hard to get my point across. If you decide I cannot be a mod here anymore I'll understand and won't fight you on it.

    Take your time deciding.

I would add to the appeal that I think Winston Smith is an indespensable poster. We have a bad history of demoting people who then wander off the board indefinately.

And I withdraw my support of SBSO if this makes my opinion of such matters foolish and not to be taken seriously.

Well, too bad. You keep fucking up, repeatedly, over and over again. Dumbo doesn't need modes badly enough to need to resort to keeping you on.

I'm sorry you're not capable of moding but you don't need more chances to screw up. At this point, you're in 101 which means we apparently can't even trust you to post on the rest of the message board. It's ridiculous to act like Dumbo can put you right back in a position of authority after that.

Take some fucking responsibility for your actions and don't contest this.

Winston, I argued in favor for your reinstatement after you resigned. And when you were elected to stay on, I didn't mind one tiny bit because I voted for you myself. I never resented you for beating me, or thought "Man, I could moderate better with my eyes closed than that douche." I didn't agree with anybody who said you were a bad or unstable mod, because ultimately, I thought you added a voice that the staff and the board desperately needed. I liked your general stance of cutting out the bullshit and I thought if anybody really tried to ride roughshod over the board, you would be quick to take a hand in it.

But what you've been doing for the past few days is trolling, plain and simple. And I don't think it's a fact that you would deny--your choice of words certainly indicate you know you've been trolling. If you were just some guy, I wouldn't give a fuck if you got your jollies from regularly trolling the board. Whatever, it's easy enough to ignore. But when you troll like this, as a moderator, you're sending out the subtle signal that you have the support of the staff. Which certainly isn't fair for the rest of the staff, or towards any members on the board. I don't know if you're doing it for kicks or if you are genuinely concerned about something on the board, but either way, you are creating drama and stupidity and stress that we don't need. And you will do it again and again and again. What you contribute to the board doesn't outweigh your bouts of trolling.

And on a more personal note, I will admit that I was very upset and even hurt by your post towards me. I don't care if people insult me in the T'Dome. If I did, I wouldn't go in there at all. So call me a cunt and say that I'm a sorry excuse for a human being, or whatever else. But you were trying to find the thing that would not only hurt me the most, but would also undermine me in the eyes of the rest of the board. After repeatedly assuring everybody I was not a moderator in any meaningful sense of the word, your post implied that we had been lying about that, and I'm some sort of ninja mod, double-crossing the members and the staff in order to serve my hateful masters. I have a serious investment in this board and I've done everything I could to help it. But with just a few lines, you personally insulted me, implicitly insulted the other moderators, and dismissed everything I have been trying to do for Domebo since I signed up. You're a smart guy, and I don't believe for a second that it was a mistake. You knew better and you chose to post it anyway.

I think Winston should just take his lumps - which I'm sure he can - and continue to play his merry pranks as a good, old-fashioned poster...I think it would suit him far better than a job as hall monitor or chief disciplinarian.

Just peeking in between presents and cake as we're having a kid's birthday party here: pepper, I have to say I think you are one of the most valuable people we have here. You took a project (front page) that had been left to rot and that you weren't sure of and made it into something really great. I really admire you and what Winston said, whether it was for lulz or what, was absolutely uncalled for.

You are an asset and we are lucky to have you. I'm grateful that Domebo gave me the chance to get to know you.

I don't hate you, but I think and have always thought you are a terrible mod. Now you have moved on from just shitting on people in JJ and ADF every once in a while to trolling the board you are supposed to be taking care of.

You have not explained, and I think we ought to hear it - why do you want to be a mod? If it's just to fuck with me and mine, or try get Exy banned, I think the community needs to know that. If there are other reasons, then you need to show them. So why?

Now - as a person, we get along great sometimes, and we are very similar. I wish I could be friends with you. But I shoot straight and you don't and I can't be friends with people I can't trust.

Yes, seconded. Peppers, the front page is really cool. If there's something about dumbo that has the potential to attract cool people, it's that, and you really deserve so much credit for all the work you've put into it.

Winnie, I do have a question. In the chat that WhutJim posted in the Hive thread you said that WhutJim "cowtows" to myself, Exy, and Myrna. I don't keep track of all of the back and forth and often don't read ADF threads so I can only speak for myself. I haven't ever asked WhutJim to do anything, much less demanded that he does. I cannot recall ever even giving him an opinion on a topic concerning the board. The night he 101'd us I didn't fight it at all. I'm interested in where this idea of yours comes from since it is a mystery to me.

You guys run this board, is what I'm saying. The dumbo culture radiates outward from chat, and you rule chat. Jim's not gonna do anything to jeopardize that. You're the glue holding Dumbo together. Ha!

Sorry Winnie, but that doesn't really clear up my question. *How* do you think we run the board? I seriously have never give WhutJim any type of suggestion much less a demand. Like I mentioned earlier, I can't speak for WhatJim's interactions with Myrna or Exy as I don't really have anything to do with that. I can only look at this from my own perspective.

It seems to be a popular thing to lump all three of us together on every single thing. Just like the other day when the fight happened with Jimbo it was said in the Thunderdome that the THREE of us were telling Jimbo that he wasn't liked by the entire board. I wasn't reading everything Exy and Myrna were saying to him but I *never* said nor insinuated such at thing, but it gets repeated as if it is truth.

I have not one time said anything about you being a bad mod, not once. I voted for you. I'm not sure we've even had sharp words with each other. Your posts in the last few days took be by surprise in a big way. Having said that, if I accused you of something like you have me I would be able to back that up with examples. I'm asking the same courtesy instead of just "because you do run the board!" Of course you have a right to your opinion, but as a mod you were trying to convince another mod (AW) of this opinion. The very least you could do is tell why you believe this and how you've arrived at this decision.

My guess is that it is easier for people to lump the three of you together. The Heathers joke has taken on its own life.

Please note, I do not agree with this, I am reporting what I have been seeing only. It is how others seem to perceive the three of you at this point.

I believe you're right, WhutJim. What Winnie has done is part of the problem. You have someone in a position of authority who is repeating this tired idea as if it is fact. That lends a certain creditability to the idea and others follow suit.

We may agree about many things, but we are three very different people. I don't expect them to take shit for the things I do and say, and I'm sure they feel the same way in reverse. In the times they argued with McNutty I stayed out of it as I've never had a problem with McNutsack. In fact, I told them that I liked him and they didn't say "oh noes, you must hate him too!"
