Shitty God-Damn Service! Rip on a business here.
Just back from a very nice vacation with the family, nice except for our visit to the worst freakin' restaurant I have visited in years.
The El Rancho Grande restaurant in New Buffalo, MI SUCKS!
Jesus what a shit hole. Seriously. Crap.
We (me, wife, 10-year old) waited for 10 full minutes before being acknowledged by anyone. Not even a "We'll be right with you."
We just stood there at the hostess stand...ignored, even though the hostess walked past us several times.
The story gets worse but I won't bore you with details. Some key highlights:
Being seated at a table right next to the crowded bar filled with drunk, swearing Detroit Tigers fans. This despite the fact that the place was half empty.
The pissy attitude when we asked to moved.
The plastic drinking cups at a place with entrees that start at $13.00.
The staff confounded and lost upon learning that we're veg.
(Mexican places are usually the most accommodating.)
The ketchup-like red sauce on my kid's quesodilla.
Taco Bell quality food otherwise.
And the hideous decor combination of "remember the Alamo" fake memorabilia and crappy Michigan boat-themed crap.
Ugh. Most amusingly, the vegetable fajitas on the menu ARE NOT VEGETARIAN. The veggies are precooked in something fleshy...
So, for the worst meal of my vacation, and the shittiest service I have received anywhere in years I say...
