Just after dinner, having a beer on the couch, watching Star Wars on the couch with the kidlet. artifex is on the couch too, but intent on playing Scrabble on her iPhone (probably with Cluricaun, come to think of it).

Actually, I am not sure I get it. But I am not a Star Wars fan. Is Alderaan the planet that got blown up?
Yes, she's a Senator and member of royalty from Alderaan, a planet which at that point is about five minutes of screen time away from being blown up by the Death Star.
Makes more sense that way.
