There isn't much green here as we're still early in spring, but I got what I could. This is all at the bottom of my street on a ski trail behind the old high school.
The whole set is here.

So now they are just dirt-covered English people in fur pelts with credit cards.
Oh, one last shot from the end of the trail that I really liked:
Those are very nice. I really like early spring when the trees are just starting to bud/leaf out.
Where is this? (what region of the country)? Is that your daughter?
I wish I had a digital camera. Some day.
Northwestern Wisconsin, about two hours over from the Twin Cities. It is really gorgeous country, which is easy to forget when I spend six months swearing at the snow.
The little girl is my six year old niece and the young man is my brother.
There is an interstate through WI on the way to MN (I forget the name of it), that is the loveliest drive. It reminded me of southern Germany. I bet this bit of country is near there, no?
I like the look of the woods just before Spring, nature is ready to spring out in full glory. You need to take the same walk in a few weeks and record the differences.
Probably! I think 70 has some stretches like that. When the weather is just right and fog has settled in all of the hollows it feels like you're in some sort of fairy land.
That's my plan. Not much has changed in the past week except in my own yard (my bulbs are blooming, woo!), but I figure by the end of the month the walk should be much more vibrant.
